🌧️ Troop 282 Faces the Rain at Camporee with Grit and Grins 🔥

Scouting America Troop 282 of West Seattle didn’t let the rain dampen their spirit during a three-day Camporee packed with adventure and resilience. With steady showers turning trails into puddles and boots into mud magnets, Scouts leaned into the challenge—and thrived.

From navigating compass orienteering courses to constructing sturdy tripods and sparking fires in drenched conditions, Troop 282 tackled every event with determination and teamwork. The weather may have been relentless, but so were they.

Laughter echoed through the campsite as Scouts shared wet-weather hacks, wrung out their socks, and supported one another through every soggy step. By the end of the weekend, they came away not just with muddy memories, but with stories of perseverance and camaraderie that won’t be forgotten.

Rain or shine, Troop 282 proves that adventure is what you make of it. 🏕️
