Scout Troops 282 and 8282 recently hiked the Lower Big Quilcene Trail. It was a memorable adventure brimming with laughter and camaraderie. As the scouts trekked along the scenic paths, they eagerly shared stories and spotted an array of wildlife, from playful squirrels to majestic birds. Each step along the trail not only brought them closer to nature but also allowed them to uncover the rich tapestry of local history that surrounds the area. This outing served as a fantastic opportunity for fun and exploration, but it also deepened the scouts’ appreciation for the great outdoors and the importance of preserving the stories of those who came before them. With every shared experience, they forged lasting bonds and gained a renewed respect for the natural world and its history.
