Troop 282 starts their summer season by preparing for a thrilling summer packed with adventures, friendship, and essential life learning experiences. The upcoming summer promises unforgettable events including summer canoeing trips on the Green River, challenging hikes in the Cascade Mountains, swimming sessions at Lake Sammamish, and camping at Camp Long, together with various other activities.

These adventures have received thorough preparation from dedicated troop leaders, enthusiastic parents, and spirited scouts over the past month. The group members completed comprehensive training courses to earn qualifications in first aid, wilderness survival, CPR, and swimming. The detailed safety preparations will help protect all participants while they enjoy the fast-paced activities that lie ahead.
